  • It looks like a common issue with these models... There should be a pin hole on the back of your laptop, just use a paperclip and pinch it for a few seconds and start it normally. It should work. Make sure your laptop is not plugged to AC when you do this.
  • Much thanks, It took me a while to find the pin hole for battery reset but it fixed the black screen ! 1080p/144hz works only on 980M. 1080p/60hz works only on 980M and crashes with the integrated GPU. I don't even have the option to try 144hz with Intel's GPU. It's not really ideal if you want to use two external monitors…

  • Thank you very much! I managed to boot on Safe Mode and deactivated/uninstalled the network drivers. I had to deactivate network-related Windows services from msconfig as well. Now I can boot to Windows without any crashes, so it is definitely these Killer Network drivers that are causing the mayhem. Now how am I supposed…
