Abnormal audio may be resolved by updating audio driver

This article only applies to: SF314-52, SF314-52G, SF314-53, SF314-53G, SF315-51, SF315-51G, SP513-52N and SP513-52NP models

Some customers have reported hearing a static or crackling sound when playing audio. The issue is intermittent and can be temporarily resolved by restarting the system. Use the following steps to download and install the latest audio driver if you are experiencing this issue.

Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
Select Driver.
Click the Download link for the file you want to download.
