Acer Aspire 5 A515-43-R19L battery is at 100% charge, orange light is blinking.

This is my first laptop and is plugged into the house current. If unplugged, the blinking stops. Cleared the Event logs and rebooted. Re-checked the Events Administration log, the System log, and there is nothing remotely related to a power issue. If there is a checklist, I could perform the tests.

    Shut machine off. Remove charger. Insert a paperclip into the reset pinhole on the bottom of the machine for 60 seconds. Plug the charger back in but don't try to turn the machine on. Wait for the battery charge LED to stop blinking and turn a steady orange and finally turn a steady blue. This may take several hours. Then try to turn the machine on again. Jack E/NJ
