Hi everyone, I recently purchased Acer Helios Ph315-52-718Q as second hand product. Everything goes smooth as butter, except the screen is only 60hz. I checked the screen specs (auo b156han02.0, 30pins).
Can you guys advise that if there is a possibility to change a new screen (144hz)? What model (i.e. manufacturer, model number) would you recommend to purchase for this replacement?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks for your help in advance.

I'm not an Acer employee. (just here to help in the best way i can)

@xapim
Much appreciated for your feedback. Looked through laptop screen codes you gave me. Unfortunately, all 144hz laptop screens are 40 pins connector against what my current laptop (30 pins). So, I guess my solution would be either using 144hz external monitor, or keeping as the way it is now.
PS: Anyhow, can you share a manual book of Acer PH315-52 to me? I've tried to search google but just cant find the right one.

Hey @QuangDuong,
did you manage to upgrad somehow to a 144 screen?
I am now in the same position as you are and wondering if a different display cable may be enough to get the 40pin screens working?
There are 30 to 40 pin converts available on ebay and amazon, which makes me wonder if something like that would just do the trick?!
I also found this acer cable, which is labeled for the ph315-52 and comes witha 40pin connector. (looks exactly like the one in our model)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-ACER-Predator-Helios-300-PH315-52-LCD-Video-Cable/254895891482?hash=item3b58faa41a:g:KhwAAOSwZsRgRzji
Makes me wonder if they just cheaped out on our screens and dropped the 10pins on the connector, but have everything that is required on board and could work this this other cable.0
