    Hello.
I struggled for a long time with the temperatures in the Acer nitro V15 VN7-592g.
Replacing pastes, cleaning, every now and then a different,
better paste, and in games the GPU temperature (gtx960m) hit 90c and caused GPU throttling.
I used ThrottleStop and lowered the CPU voltage by 0.125mV, but the GPU kept hitting 90c anyway.
The CPU was always max 75c, but the GPU was boiling.
I decided to put on liquid metal at last, but it didn't work.
I mean, the temperature grew slower but the GPU eventually hit 90c anyway.
The cooling system was to blame, as it couldn't push the heat out of such a thin laptop.
And success came yesterday: I cut the ribs behind the heatsink of the fans.
They were still thick, which made up half of the available exit hole.
After their removal, max. GPU temperature under stress is now 75-78c.
Finally !!!! Pound the housing. I will polish it nicely and it will be ok.
    I recommend it.
The engineers at ACER were sent into space with their ideas for cooling.
P.S. Sorry for english, i'm from poland and used google translator.

So, before, on battlefield 1 in full hd resolution, temps would go easy over 85C for both cpu and gpu, as of now it is hovering around 80, tho it is too soon to judge there was some result!
On my Nitro 5, I reduced the temps from 90s to max of low 70s by reducing max turbo to 3.8 (from 4.5 max) (turbo is still on, not disabled). Gaming and other perfomance wise I do not see much impact (except in benchmarks), but temps are cooler by over 20 degrees. And didn't void warranty :-)
