My Acer Aspire 5 laptop isn’t charging

Hello, about 2 days ago my Acer Aspire 5 laptop has stopped charging and the power and battery light blink quickly whenever I try to charge the laptop. When I keep the charger plugged into the laptop but disconnect it from the outlet it continues to blink and not charge for a minute and then stop blinking but when I just unplug it directly from the laptop it stops blinking immediately. This started happening when I was moving my laptop from one side of the room to the other. I've tried taking out the battery and reconnecting it but it still continues to not charge and the power and charging light blink. Everything else seems to be working fine and I only got this laptop a year ago. Also I am using the charger that came with the laptop.

Go to device manager>battery>uninstall the battery driver and restart the unit. It should fix the issue or else try the below step and check as well.

power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.

Neither of those worked. I’ve tried pretty much everything else I could and the laptop still won’t charge and continues to have the charging and power lights blink quickly when I try to charge the laptop.

Did u try to wiggle the charger and see the unit is charging?? If yes than it could be a problem with the charger or the charging port on. the unit. In that case you need to call Acer support and send it in for repair. check the link below to call Acer.
