    Hi,
Go to BIOS screen, move to Main tab and press F9 button, press F10 to Save & Exit and see whether it helps.

    Hi,
Could you please download and install CPU-z, run it and post the pictures of Memory tab and SPD tab for both RAM modules.

Take the screenshots from task manager and post them showing this reservation.

That is totally messed up. I never saw this happen before. Try popping in a Live CD (Linux or such) and see how much RAM they report.

Its the same in mostly all Ryzen Laptops with integrated graphics. The vega 8 reserves 2gb ram for itself always

2 GB - I can understand. Even my Nitro 5 with Ryzen had used 2 GB or 8 GB for graphics. I added another 8 and then it said it used the same 2 GB for graphics leaving the remaining 14 for me.
In his case, it is adding the entire additional RAM to reserved pool - it is as if it recognized the 8 GB but does not want to use it.
It could be a case of BAD RAM or RAM available but not usable by his system.
