Hi! I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-572.
The backlight was either always on or off, in short, it worked on a button (fn+F9).
I upgraded the RAM today and now my backlight has started to turn off on its own.
It is activated by pressing any button again.
But how to get everything back so that it turns on constantly, untill I turn it off manually?
Thank You!

Enter the BIOS menu and check the KB backlight option again. Press Ctrl+S if you don't see the option displayed. Jack E/NJ

Hi! Can you please send a picture of bios where this option is located? I have already tried to check the BIOS, but I couldn’t find it.
    Thank you!

It would be in the Main tab. If you don't see it, press Ctrl+S. Often it is sufficient to simply set and save the BIOS menu settings after making a hardware change to bring the system back to the way it was before making the change. Jack E/NJ

May be it`s because I have old BIOS version, but I tried CTRL+S, and nothing appeared. I tried it at all tabs, but couldn`t find KB backlight option...

  • Hi @yerassyl
Have you checked the PredatorSense? If not, run it and click the settings(gear wheel at the top right), check whether you have the toggle button to switch off timeout.

    Hi,
I have NitroSense, it seems you don't have that feature, so you can not do anything about it, I think.

I have little doubt that it worked like this before. It's also possible an update contributed to this issue.  What is your BIOS version number now? There were some confusing claims that versions 1.19 & 1.20 may have backlight options in this thread. https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/717611/#Comment_717611.  Jack E/NJ

    Hi yerassyl,

    1. Double click the PredatorSense icon on the desktop.
    2. Click Edit.
    3. Select the Lighting tab.
    4. Click the lighting toggle to Off to turn off lights in any given zone, or click the light bulb icon. ...
