I noticed a small 2pixel tall line across my screen recently that appeared out of nowhere. It doesn't look like dead pixels and the line doesn't span the entire screen. It's only really noticeable over gray backdrops but I'm not sure if it's foreboding of something else. Wondering if I should be concerned or if there's any fix and anyone has a had a similar issue. Monitor model is EI272UR. Had this monitor for 4 months if that helps. That type of artifact is usually some electrical noise in the cable between the computer and monitor. Try routing it differently to see if there's any change.

    Hi rohanka3,

Try to do power drain by disconnecting the all the cables and press and hold power button for 30-40 seconds. Then reconnect the cables turn ON the unit check the screen. If issue not resolved I suggest you to contact acer tech support,

Or book the unit for repair service,
