I just bought an Acer Aspire 5 A515-55-35SE. And I bought some memory. a Crucial 16GB Single DDR4 3200 MT/S (PC4-25600) CL22 DR X8 Unbuffered SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT16G4SFD832A. I was looking around for some videos on how to take apart the back and noticed that my screw configuration is different. I am planning on not taking off the battery wires and just sticking it in the slot also rather than go to the trouble of removing the battery wire. Is that OK?

I called Acer support. They said to remove all 11 screws. They said that it was recommended that you disconnect the battery but was not required. They said that the memory was fine. Acer support works fine. I do wish that they could have made the numbers easier to read on the back. That's my only complaint

Its a pretty good computer for a middle of the road laptop. Everything is zippy, it looks like my more expensive work laptop, and everything works.

One complaint I do have with the windows that came with it is when you type news on edge  and press enter it takes you straight to newsmax. Even though I use edge on my other computers, this aberration caused me to install google chrome instead.
