I am trying to connect my Acer EK241Y to my ps4 with a HDMI-cable. It is not working. I turn on the screen an "ACER" pops up, then the screen turns black. It is not something wrong with the HDMI-cable because the ps4 will connect to my tv with the same HDMI-cable. I bought the screen today, so I dont understand whats wrong. PLEASE HELP!

Try using the monitor's OSD to switch the source to HDMI. The display is working or else it wouldn't show the splash screen.

No that isnt working. When I press the button nothing pops up. The monitor is still black. Is there a problem connecting the EK241Y to the ps4? And do you need a D-sub , or is it enough with the power cable and a HDMI-cable?

There shouldn't be an issue. You should just need the power cable to allow the monitor to turn on (and since you see the splash screen that's obviously working) and the HDMI cable to bring the video signal from the PS4 to the monitor. It's concerning though that the on screen display menu doesn't come up. It should display even if you don't have a good HDMI signal.

Turn the monitor back on, then check the OSD to see if it's looking for a signal on the HDMI port.

When I turn on the monitor it pops up acer on the screen, then it turns black. When I press the buttons underneath the monitor it is still black, nothing comes up. I can not change anything. But when the HDMI cable is out of the monitor or out of the ps4 then it comes up d-sub the it turns black and then HDMI then it turns black and finally it comes up "No Signal" then its black and the blue light turns orange. When I press the the button that changes the inport I can choose between d-sub and HDMI, I choose HDMI, than I try it again, but it does not work..... Can not understand why, bought it yesterday :/

Time to contact Acer support or swap it back with your vendor. It shouldn't be doing that, it should act with HDMI plugged in the same as when it's not plugged in, except start displaying your screen when it tries for the HDMI mode.
