my computer fans sound different than my friends comp. that is the same exact model. how do I fix this.
i am using an515-53-55g9 nitro 5
I have had this problem for a while now
the only hardware change that I ever did was a ram upgrade, I might have screwed something up, but not sure
the only software change was a graphics driver update and the mandatory windows ones

I took a video of the sounds, and that is the link. the best way I would describe it would be vibrating or like a lawnmower

I am very sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with your Acer product:
have you ever contacted our direct support channels to report this issue or may be sent these video links to our support team?

I ask you because the community is not a tech support channel, we don't do any type of customer support or give follow-ups here because we don't have the tools that our technical support team has to access account information, etc. We are moderators of the forum and our job is to monitor and maintain the forum itself, what I can do from my part is gather some information from you and have that escalated to our support team for follow up (please keep in mind that this does not guarantee andy changes on previous decisions from our team or that something different will be done from what you might have gotten previously advice from any of our call center or chat agents), we only forward the information for review and follow up, the decisions or options will be given from the Advocate agent that will handle your case once contacted and provided with a case ID number, etc.
With that being said, please send me a private message with your name, unit serial number, and phone number with the best time to contact you to have forward it to one of our customer advocates.

    Thanks for understanding,
    Acer-Manny
