When I add in an extra sata ssd into my acer aspire I can see that there is a blue foam on the inside of the back cover. Should this be removed when installing the extra ssd? Thanks

Also one more query while I'm here. On the Acer Aspire 5 slim is it normal that on the touchpad itself, there is a slightly bigger gap on the right side of the touchpad than the left side of the touchpad? Like it isn't exactly symmetrical?

Leave all OEM materials as they are, don’t remove anything as everything is there for a purpose. Also, it would be allot better if you include captions as a means of more details to your questions.
