I just bought this laptop a few days ago and downloaded Valorant and League. I noticed it was running on 50-80 fps, so I thought the issue might be the ram since it was only 4gb. The model of mine's is Acer Nitro 5 an515-43-r2wk btw. So I upgraded the ram to 16gb and the issue still persists. I thought I'd be getting around 100+ fps consistently. Any reasons why I have low fps?

    Hi @tenko

Right click on the battery Icon on the right bottom corner, go to power management, click advanced and select High performance. you can also use Nitro sense to boost the performance but Overclocking the CPU or GPU usage. Open task manager and do a right click and "End task" on unwanted application running in the background. on the same Task manager, click on startup and disable unwanted application that start up.
Go to your ingame Video settings, I can see that both games are from RIOT, since you're playing on computer, the video settings will have maximum FPS on Battery and power etc, turn them off or set to 140 FPS. Consumes battery, but should work.

I might have a solution for you. Using a External Monitor should solve your issue. I think this is happening because your laptop has Integrated Graphics.

You can check this video for example.
