My spin 5 (sp54n) is not recognising any connectivity devices, including WIFI and Bluetooth

WIFI, Bluetooth, Ethernet etc. all say "not connected" in network settings. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, hard resets, and even running ubuntu desktop. Is there something obvious I could be missing?

What os are you running / troubleshooting :)

So is it that no WiFi networks show when it scans, or it's able to see them and not connect

This is on Windows - using ubuntu was only to try and get around any potential driver issues.
It literally does not recognise that there is wifi hardware connected (code 45 in device manager)

WiFi and Bluetooth are on the same hardware, Ethernet is not. That sounds like the issue is in the network stack instead of in the hardware drivers. Try a SFC /Scannow to see if there's any Windows corruption issues.

Code45 is usually when a PCI device is loose , or bawled. Worth trying to reaseat and remove and re install

Does Ubuntu show it in lspci? Of not, the chip could be broke
