I needed to use a VGA to DVI adapter because my mother board did not have a VGA port. My monitor, however, keeps displaying "no signal" I highly doubt it to be a problem with my motherboard

Update: I figured out that it was a DRAM issue. My motherboard was not recognizing my RAM so I had to buy new RAM. Thank you for your help, anyway

Did you get a VGA to DVI adapter or a DVI to VGA adapter? Which connector is physically on the computer?
