Hello,
I bought a Nitro 5 (AN515-55) with an i5-10300H, and with a GTX 1650 in November. I noticed that people with the same exact Nitro 5 are getting 400 fps on games I play while I’m getting around 80-180. I downloaded nvidia drivers, but there isn’t any difference. I also played around with some of the ingame settings, but still no difference. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thank you very much.
Paul

Which games? 400 Seems pretty high! Could be using non native resolutions, running the screen say at 720p

It’s specifically Minecraft since I play that a lot, but sometimes other games.

Is it java with optifine? It looks in the solid range I would expect if im honest! The desktop 1650 pared with a strong CPU will get between 150normal and 300  when running on potato mode :)

It’s with optifine! Thanks for the help. I talked to someone about it and they said they were able to get 400fps and up using an external monitor. Thank you so much for your help!  :)

I would take that with a huge pinch of salt if they have the same spec ;)! Single player and multiplayer also has a huge impact on frame rates, the game is very heavy on the CPU.

it is worth checking the task manager to make sure it is running on the dedicated GPU though!
