Hello...I bought acer ka222q from argos a few months back and I am now having a problem that I cant get sorted.
Whenever I shut the PC down the power light on the monitor remains orange and I need to push the top button on the back of the monitor to turn it off completely
When I power the system back on I hear a beep and the message on the monitor reads tells me that the time and date are wrong and that I must reset this. It also tells me that if I keep getting this message there may be a problem with the battery. I keep getting the message...
I hvae tried to find out how to reset or even change the battery but I am lost and cant get any answers to help me with this...
Anybody any idea?

It is probably your computer that is asking for the time and date, not the monitor. How old is the computer? The CMOS battery might be in need of replacement.
