Hi, I have bought a acer nitro 5 an515-54-728c, it hasn't been a month, but even in the very first days, I realized a voice from the CPU side, it's like(NOT exactly the same) the voice you hear from an old TV when it cannot find a channel(white screen with random black colors moving in it)
this picture will help you understand the voice I mean:

I hadn't noticed the voice again until a test:(FAN speed was on 1900 and 1800 rpm)
when I run Crystal Disk test, THE voice's volume increases, despite that the voice cannot be heard if you don't listen very carefully and closely(even after it's increased while using crystal disk test), but it's making me worried.

it's apparently not the RTX, because it is off.

Has anyone had the same issue with any 2020 Nitro 5?  you need to listen from the HDMI port :-) and fan speed on 1900 and 1800 rpm and also run crystal test to make sure you can hear it or not

Thanks for uploading! If its the noise between 3 and 5 seconds that is indeed coil whine, it happens when the CPU / system is under load and i dont think there is anyway of getting rid of it im afriad :(
UPDATE: I checked another laptop with Ryzen 3 3200U, and believe me it had a noise like mine but a lot louder! I think I was too sensitive, the noise in both laptops cannot be noticed by a Not too sensitive Human :-) I hadn't noticed The other laptop's noise for more than a year!

When you say voice do you mean a static sound? Something like this (headphones give a better example of the  noise rather than speakers for some bizzar reason)

    @Ariyan
It is "noise", not "voice". Voice means someone talking :open_mouth:

Based on what you mentioned, it looks like your hard disk is what is making the noises/sounds.

sorry, I'm not an English guy actually, the noise isn't coming from where SSD hard is, it's coming from the left hand side, where the CPU is, obviously CPU does an important job in reading and writing to hard, I just want someone with a acer nitro 5 an515-54-728c to do what exactly I did and check to see if they can hear a noise from where HDMI port stands

Could you record it? It could be coil whine which is normal / OK from the laptop :)

Close to the CPU it is likely the fan making the noise.

I don't think so, on this model, both fans are on the other side

The acer community does not allow mp3 or wav formats, so i uploaded it, here is a link to download it:
you need to click on a red button which has دریاقت لینک دانلود on it, and then a link appears, click on the دانلود فایل

    https://s16.picofile.com/file/8422290500/a.wav.html

before listening to the noise: increase the volume to max, and note that most of what you here is fan noise BUT after mouse click, if you listen very carefully, there is a noise in the background for one or two seconds, and then it is gone, this noise comes right after i start crystal disk test, but according to task manager, BEFORE the test ends, the noise is gone, so it happens in the beginning of the test, i checked the cpu clock, it DOES NOT increase after the test starts, so i did render a file and this noise didn't come, so fortunately i can say it is not from the cpu or RTX, but the noise still exists

NOTE: the other noise which is always there, seems to be coil whine
