A few months ago, games used to run perfect. Warzone all high was easily 95+ average. Now it struggles to maintain 55 in all low. Doesnt make a difference if i turn on DXR with all high, the fps is still 55ish. i tried dropping down resolution with no effect on fps. There is no cap on fps set by me.
I tested in bf1, this laptop easily averages 120+ fps in ultra, on my laptop struggles to maintain a stable 65.
CSGO used to run 250+ avg fps, now its around 90

I have a triton 500, rtx 2060, 8750h, dual channel 16gb, bios v1.12

Here is what i've tried so far:
-tried limiting fps
-warzone reinstall
-geforce experience uninstall, reinstall, nvidia control panel uninstall, reinstall
-windows reinstall, keeping files, removing all files, i even installed a windows 10 manually from a usb stick
-install all the "performance upgrade" updates in the acer website
-tweaked all the settings in nvidia control panel (high performance, prefer performance over quality etc)
-windows game bar stuff disabled
-tried undervolting
-turbo mode doesnt help
-tried changing thermal paste, it has resulted to better thermal performance, like the laptop cools down faster now, but no impact on gaming

usual temps even after this poor performance is : gpu 86C avg, cpu 90C avg

Please let me know if there is anything i can try. I have tried everything mentioned in another similar thread with the exception of downgrading the bios to 1.02, as i dont know how to do it. And i doubt it will help, but if anyone is certain that it will, pls leave a link to how to get that bios.

Your temps are in the throttling range so u will face fps drops while gaming. I think you need to clean your fans and change the TIM again(since 86 and 90 are really high after a repaste) with undervolt.

I've cleaned the fans, i suspected that it was a temperature issue as well. But even when i had good fps in all games, the temperature used to be the same. And as i have mentioned, csgo barely gets 1/3 of the fps it used to get before, its not even demanding or anything. With undervolt the temps drop to 80-85C, but doesnt change anything. And as for throttling, msi afterburner shows that the usual gpu usage is merely 50-60 percent. The only game where the gpu was being fully used was RDR2 when using Vulcan. Ironically i got more fps (66 in high) in RDR2 than in warzone. I just cant tell how this beast of a laptop became so trash. I had my exams so i did not play for 3 weeks, so i cant really remember what changed or updated. Before that, everything was all good, this laptop now genuinely feels like a waste of money. There arent even proper acer repair/care centers where i can take this laptop to.

Can you run heaven benchmark and check fps, memory clock, core clock, usage using msi ab. Also run the benchmark and get the score.

What were your gpu clock speeds throughout the test? The score is kinda fine for an rtx2060 given it reaches pretty high temps. Can you run userbenchmark cuz it gives a good comparision?

fixed the problem, turns out the insides of the fans had MASSIVE lumps of dirt in the insides of the fans. got them cleared and repasted thermal paste, pc runs like rocket now. Thanks for the support @busu3 !!!

I have the same issue with the same laptop, how did you clean your fans?
