I recently brought this laptop and right out the box it has problems with wifi. The laptop will stay connected to the wifi for a long while then will randomly disconnect and will reconnect really quickly or very slowly. This is very annoying especially when im playing games online. Is there a way to potentially fix this issue?

Models often ship without updated Drivers due to a multiple of reasons. The link below is to your support page, download and install the WIfi LAN driver for your model, there are 2 drivers one for the Intel and one for the Killer card so check which one you have in Device Manager under Network Adapters. While you are there update your BIOS to the latest version

    Dear Everyone
I had the same thing.  I updated the Bios that was NOT A GOOD IDEA.  That removed the touch pad settings, xHCI Support, and SATA Mode settings for the hard drive. The Bios update had PXE boot fix.  Which i have like to play with in the past.  There is no good documentation on what the Bios update does.
I can't use this laptop with out running Linux. Which doesn't see the hard drive in RST Mode.  Any ideas? Other than the obvious.

Please start a new Topic for your question. it becomes very confusing when there is more than one question in the same topic.

I have the same problem with my new laptop (Nitro AN515-54, Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz), wi-fi disconnecting occasionally. The driver at Acer web site is older version (20.120.0.4) than the one installed on my laptop (21.10.1.2). Same is with almost all other drivers. Only newer BIOS version (1.09) is available on the support page, my laptop is with ver. 1.05, but I'm not convinced I want to install it due to the post above.
Any other suggestions how to fix wi-fi disconnecting issue? Is it possible to be a hardware issue? Any support from Acer support team?

I went to the website you recommend. I already have the newest version of the driver installed on the laptop. I don't think it's necessary to update the BIOS and I don't want to end up like JINDA, who multiplied their problems.

I had this exact same problem, and for me I tried a bunch of different fixes that were suggested in here. I've now finally solved it on my laptop, but the problem annoyed me so much I had to add my solution in here.
I have the 515-43, with the Qualcomm wifi adapter and ended up finding the solution on a Qualcomm support forum .

All I really had to do was reset the network settings, I did it thru the windows network menu and it worked, I havent had problems with it since. There is a youtube video on how to do this thru the CMD, which should be tried before dismissing the solution. (remember to search Qualcomm not acer nitro)

This fix seems to not only have fixed the disconnection issue but also made the wifi connection stronger and more stable in general.
I hope this helps someone, I was so relieved that I really wanted to share this simple fix with you.

Good night, I can pass on two possible solutions.
    Both by the task manager.

The first you must click with the right button on your network card and right after, click on properties.
Then, go to the advanced tab and look for the option Support for U-APSD, if it is enabled, disable it.

The second way, is in the same advanced tab, in which one must look for the option MIMO - Energy Saving Mode and leave it in the Value Without SMPS
