Not sure why, but I find the speakers to have treble only and negligible bass. I don't know if True Harmony intended to have less bass, but the sound quality is quite bad. The bass did get better when I turned off the Dolby Audio but then the overall volume is quite low. Please advise if there is any solution to this

My system:-
System Model - Nitro AN515-53
BIOS Version/Date - Insyde Corp. V1.28, 2019-08-05
Realtek Drive version - 10.0.19041.1

I did check the drivers and they were up to date.

I am having the same issue, this is my second nitro laptop and I find the Nitro 5 speaker is really bad, which sound more like a cheap plastic speaker.

Have you found a solution yet?

They aren't going to be big speakers if they fit in the case... Best bet if you want a full sound is external speakers.

    Hey,

Not as such but spent some time with the Dolby application to manually setup the EQ. Sounds better but still crappy. It's okay for movies but music, a big NO.

Comparing with my asus zenbook and macbook. They sound exceptionally better than acer nitro 5. Even with acer's costlier products like predator still sound bad when compared to asus and apple. I eventually had to get myself bookshelf speakers to fit my needs. Above that the audio output from the laptop is weird as well, I blame the Dolby application for that. Had to get myself a monitor to deliver good sound. Something that needs to be considered by acer.
