Hello - purchased this machine refurbed and used it a little, but then it lay unused for a couple of months. When I boot up it gives the dreaded "No Bootable Device".

No matter what I do I can not shake this message off, here is what I have tried:

1. Tried to boot with Windows 10 USB install
2. Tried to change boot sequence to read usb stick first
3. Loaded bios default with F9

I am able to get to Bios fine, I can see the ssd listed, the amount of RAM, everything checks out, but the machine will not boot off the usb stick. Have never seen anything like this and I have some experience with HP and Lenovo laptops.

I even turned the manual boot option on with F12 but when I enter that menu, i have no bootable choice to select from at all. This has been quite frustrating and am look for some help from you kind folks.

As it was refurb, Acer told me to check here and here I am.

TIA.

Ralf

Additional, the BIOS version is 1.10, there is a later version but as I have no bootable way to run it I am kind of stuck.

Yeah, you should just need to enable the F12 boot menu and disable Secure Boot in order to boot from a USB stick, then you can look at the SSD to see what might be wrong with it.
