If ever I will upgrade my Acer Aspire 5's ram and storage, do I remove the current ram and storage and replace it with the new one or I just put the new ram and storage somewhere. Sorry, I'm a computer newb.

=) you are a newb, ok with ram and if you want to upgrade you either match your OEM ram (get CPUz software) to see your exact OEM ram specs at Memory and SPD part of this software and either match your OEM e.g. add another 8GB with same specs or add a kit of 2x 16GB DDR4-2666MHz as the a515 52 can tax a max capacity of 32GB in its 2x slots (2 banks of 1) see here what you can upgrade an a515 52 as it’s the same for your aspire 5 a515 52g 75xj: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/acer/aspire-a515-52

With storage it depends as you can upgrade both the SSD 2.5” and the M.2 and have both and keep your OEM storage and add an additional one.
