Hello,

Not so long ago I bought the Acer iconia w700.

I'm very happy with it, but I have a very annoying problem.

when I work with google chrome the touchscreen doesn't work that good.

Also when I want to type something, the keyboard pops up but immediatly goes away.

I work in google chrome app for windows 8. When I work in desktop mode the touchscreen problem stays the same.

I hope someone can help me.

i dont know what the cause is as i dont use chrome. however if you flick from the right, select settings and click keyboard you get the option to display the keyboard which should stay on screen until you close it.

not a complete fix but a quick solution

The problem is with Chrome! It doesn't scale the screen right! By default the W700 is set to 125% display scaling but if you change it to 100%, Chrome will work normally! There is one problem thou.... At 1920x1080 everything is very small at 100% display scaling!

I changed it to 100% the moment I installed chrome. So that's not the problem.
