Acer care center forgets settings on reboot.

Acer care center > Checkup > Battery charge limit
I keep setting it to "On", but every time I reboot my laptop it resets to "Off"
Is there a way of making it stay on, or any other way of preventing constant 100% charging?

I also have the same problem, even when I turn on Battery Charge Limit it would still reach 100% and Care Center also resets on startup(also resets my changes startup applications).

I've been in contact with Acer about this, and they were pretty useless.

Response from Acer; Please try setting it on the system under battery settings and not on the application. Please note that this can be accessed on the battery settings not system settings. Kindly click on the battery icon on your taskbar then select battery settings.

    Update from Acer customer support...

"Please note that I have forwarded the enquiry to our Technical Account Manager to consider fixing the app so it remembered the settings."

Priceless! Best customer support ever! :/

I also noticed something recently. BIOS reset method (pressing power button for 12 seconds) has the exact same effect. The battery feature resets and also the coolboost setting in predator sense. No other setting in BIOS is reset. So maybe the laptop BIOS resets after reboot. Must be a problem with laptop CMOS battery if there is one).
