This monitor was supposed to support till 144hz but it is disabled for my PS5.  I hope somebody can help :(

I am using the hmdi cable provided with the PS5 which supports 120hz.

Hi Oetam, I already tried the following steps:

    - Saved Data and Game/App Settings ->Game Presets->Performance Mode or Resolution Mode (Set to Performance Mode)
    - Open Call of Duty Cold War -> Settings ->Graphics -> 120hz (still disabled)
    - went back to settings to check video output information but it still show 60hz

Note: I made sure I opened the PS5 version of call of duty

I've tried changing the resolution to 1080p/1080i and repeated these steps but still the same.

are you using the same monitor and tried in PS5?

Thank you for your response :+1:

    Rebooting console couple of time?
In monitor settings, 144Hz is enabled?

I don't have PS5 but I am aware of problem that people have.

yes, i tried rebooting so many times but still the same. I've read some other models have the same issue and their solution is use a HDMI to DP port converter because only the DP port supports 120hz. It's just a bit odd since specs says my monitor supports upto 144hz in HDMI.

If you have laptop or PC to check if monitor is working correctly. Connect it through HDMI and check if you can put in Windows settings 144Hz refresh rate.

The monitor is HDMI 2.0, so you may have to reduce the resolution to get 120Hz or 144Hz. HDMI 2.0 doesn't support 1440P at 144Hz so try 1080P instead.

How do you mean that HDMI 2.0 doesn't support 1440P at 144Hz?

HDMI 2.0 clearly support 1440p at 144Hz no problem.

help me please. I'm tired and have tried everything. I have an acer nitro vg272u 144 hz monitor.
my monitor problem with xbox series x. does not produce 2k and 120 hertz. I have a choice of only 2k and 60 hertz or full hd and 120 hertz.
