I have a Aspire A514-52G with
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 2304 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Nvdia Mx350
1TB ssd, 12gb ram

Whenever I put the computer under stress, or play games like CS:GO, my cpu will automatically underclock itself to 1.5GHz or lower. This causes my game to be extremely laggy. I have tried many methods such as disabling power throttling, undervolting, turning of BD PROCHOT but none of them helps. My temperature of the CPU rarely even hits 75 degrees in such circumstances. I suspect it is an ACER setting that is automatically underclocking my CPU when under stress.

What is the point of me buying a laptop with decent specs when it just underclocks almost immediately when under stress? Please help as this is extremely frustrating and I am extremely disappointed with ACER

using throttle stop, disable and then enable intel turbo boost. Next, using XTU, run XTU benchmark and in the monitoring section check if
    a. Its power throttling
    b. Its EDP/Current throttling

MX350 isnt a very high performance GPU. Maybe since the GPU requirements arent that high, the CPU just doesnt need to work as much. Just a theory. Also, 1.5 GHz on a 1.8GHz processor isnt that bad. I have a 2.4GHz processor and sometimes while gaming on some low requirement games it dips down to 2GHz. If your processor goes below 1GHz, then that is an issue. Nonetheless, try out what I wrote above and lemme know
