Hi, I bought yesterday an Acer Predator Orion 3000. At it's power supply it has this not loud but a bit annoying itching sound. Should I consider it as a problem or this is how he is? I was a laptop user for 12 years, I didn't had a desktop since a long time, so, maybe this is how it has to be, I'm not sure. My model is P03-620.

There should be no noise coming from the power supply.

That is not normal, contact support

Check to see if it's just an unbalanced fan. As Frenzy says there shouldn't be anything other than normal fan noises coming from the PSU.

I think the power supply has a problem. For example if I plug in a display and a display graphics tablet, the noise stop. If I plug one of the devices out, the noise starts again. And if I just plug in without powering on the p.c., there is still a subtle noise from the power supply area.

I decided to get a new psu. Can you recommend a psu what fits in it? It's this new one with the 6 (basically 5 wire is attached) atx1 kind.

If the big connector for the MB is the six pin (and another with four) then the supply is one of the new ATX12VO models. A bit of Googling should fine replacements, though there's not a lot of choice still. The six pin connector has two each 12V and GND, plus the power enable that's connected to your power button, the four pin just has two each 12V and GND. They often don't both hooking up a wire to the other side of the power enable, since that's just another GND.
