Hi,

I've been stumped by this problem.

Notebook: Acer Nitro V AN-515-55 - NH.Q7PEK.002
    CPU i7-10750H
    GPU 1660ti
    BIOS: V1.08
    Windows 10 64bit 20H2
    Nvidia 457.51
    Intel Graphics 27.20.100.8935

PC with Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 1GB HDMI to Acer ET430K ok
Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Dell U2410 ok

Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Acer ET430K -> Black screen

Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Acer ET430K recognised by Windows but shows black screen
Tried Duplicate, Extended and second screen only.
Acer Nitro 5 USBC to Dell D6000 hub, HDMI to Acer ET430K also shows black screen
Tried Duplicate, Extended and second screen only.
Acer Nitro 5 USBC to Dell D6000 hub, DP to Acer ET430K works fine

How can I get Acer Nitro 5 to work with the Acer ET430K via the HDMI?

Thanks

    More info after more testing

    Dell Inspiron 15-5578 - i5-7200U - HDMI to Acer ET430K ok
HP Pavillion i7-72630QM - HDMI to Acer ET430K ok
Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Sony Bravia KD65XE9305 LED HDR 4K - OK

After testing the TV I thought it might have done something for the laptop, I then connected to my monitor agai.
Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Acer ET430K -> Both screens go Black
    Acer ET430K - no signal -> Black
Acer Nitro 5 - set to pc only, duplicate, extend -> Black when I plug in the HDMI cable. Screen reappears when I unplug the cable.
Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Dell U2410 still OK

    Do I have a faulty Acer Nitro 5 ???

Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Sony Bravia KD65XE9305 LED HDR 4K @ 60 Hz - Everything works as expected. Can extend and have the Sony Bravia as the main screen at 4k @ 60Hz.

Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Acer ET430K - (same cable) Both immediately have black screens, when I unplug the cable the Acer Nitro 5 has a low-resolution screen (640 x 480?) for a second or so before it changes back to its normal 1920 x 1080.

I would have thought Acer to Acer would have better compatibility?

I think this is a bios problem because I now remember I upgraded the bios from 1.04 to 1.08.

The laptop comes with v1.04 bios
Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Acer ET430K -> Acer Nitro 5 screen stays on and can recognise Acer ET430K, Acer ET430K shows a Black screen

    Flash to v1.08
Acer Nitro 5 HDMI to Acer ET430K -> Acer Nitro 5 Black screen, Acer ET430K Black screen
When I unplug the HDMI cable the Acer Nitro 5 has a low-resolution screen (640 x 480?) for a second or so before it changes back to its normal 1920 x 1080.
