Hello,

I have an E5-576-392H running Windows 10 2004 with an SSD (primary storage) and an HDD (secondary storage) that randomly becomes unresponsive and freezes after the display turns off for a while.  When this happens, the screen is totally black and the mouse and keyboard don't work, but the computer is still on with led lights showing that it is.  It also doesn't make any sounds when I insert or remove a USB device nor does it go into sleep mode when the lid is closed or after being idle for a set period of time.  I can only force a restart of the computer when this happens. The only temporary solution that works is setting the "Display Turned Off" setting to Never.  This problem has been occurring since mid-September and hasn't happened anytime before, even with the display turning off on idle.  I have tried using System File Checker, Disk Check, malware scanning, and updating Windows to the latest security update to no avail.  Could this be a graphics driver bug?  Any solutions?  Thanks in advance!

Another thing to note is that this issue doesn't occur when videos or music is playing in the background, even with the display turned off.

I am having this problem too - E5-551-T1MK running windows 10 2004. Very disruptive, I will be halfway through something and leave the laptop on idle for a few minutes then the screen goes black (whilst the laptop is still running) and I can’t get the screen back on again.

Same issue with the AN515‑53‑55G9. Have you guys figured anything out with this yet?
