Each time I reboot computer and press F2 before booting, laptop is stuck on Acer logo. Nothing happens, can't do anything. I can boot Windows, I can boot Linux by choosing F12 bootable device but bios is inaccessible. I face the same problem after trying it for the first time(Dual boot) and it was solved by updating the bios driver. But when i try it (installing linux) again, I face the same problem.Laptop is stuck on Acer logo(after hitting f2).As I have already updated the driver, I can't solve the issue this time.
Is there any way to solve it?

Yeah, Linux installs seem to remove the delay that gives you time to hit F2 to enter the BIOS. Something in the Grub configuration for UEFI I believe. You can get there, but you have to be clicking the F2 key really fast and get lucky on the timing. I believe there are solutions listed on some of the Linux forums...

I tried hitting F2 as early as possible but that didn't work. Also I can get into boot menu settings by hitting f12 where I can select to boot into windows or linux. I didn't get any solution to enter BIOS yet.

You can't just hit the F2 once and have it work... Start clicking the key as if it gave you a boost in a video game, cl-cl-cl-cl-cl-click... :)

I'm having the same problem with a Swift 3 - a couple of years old and in recent days no longer responds to pressing F2 before or during first part of boot. I have a dual boot (Win10 & Linux) system. Nothing works to get to BIOS. It just goes right on through to my Linux OS. This, obviously, is a disaster. We need a solution for this!
