Battery Charge Limiter App?

I'm mainly using this laptop as a desktop replacement since I do not have to bring this laptop very often, but still do need once in a while. That being said, it's usually plugged in to the wall and in some cases where I forget to unplug it, it will charge to 100% then trickle charge. This is definitely not good if I plan to maximize the battery life span by one or two more years from the intended age. There is a way to basically limit the charge to a certain percentage and it will charge again after it hits a certain percentage (e.g. charge up to 80% then wait until it hits 45% before continuing to charge again) in rooted android. Sadly, I have found no app that works like that for my laptop. If anyone know any it'd be a great help. Thanks.

@Triparadox there's no need for you to worry the internal lithium batteries do not overcharge they trickle charge under 95% its completely normal and healthy to keep it in good health the only thing u need to do it's once every 3 months or so calibrate the battery let it discharge completely and recharge to full repeat 3 times also keep an eye on your battery wear they work by charging cycles a bit like ssds the more you use it on battery only the more wear you will get my advice use it on ac everytime only use it on battery on emergency situations

My 2012 purchased laptop still has a battery life of over 50% on it, and my current 18 month old has a wear level of 2%. Both have been on power almost all the time. So don't think much about battery wear. Same with my office laptop too... it is about 2 years old and a wear of less than 4%.

Thank you both for the response. It's just that I'm a bit worried since I've owned this laptop for about 1 year (or slightly less than a year) but the wear level shown by HW Monitor is at 14% already...

As much as I was excited with this info, I'm disappointed after finding out that such option doesn't exist. The only things I see on the "CHECKUP" tab are: (i) HDD status, (ii) Battery Health, and (iii) LAN. The only thing clickable on Battery Health is "Check now".

For some reason it doesn't exist on my Acer Care Center, did they remove it?

I have an Acer Predator Helios 700, and no support for battery optimization on it either, but software is very slow and crashes over and over, mayby time for an update from current v.4.00.3006 so it can run on Windows 10 v.2004 ?
    Thanx in advance

Can't find this option here either. ACER, if you are reading this, please consider putting this option back. It would help a lot of users.
