The monitor buttons don't seem to work while the setting is on, and the only way I can turn off the monitor is to unplug the power cable

Sure, i'm trying to found solution. I've contact Acer they told me it's a material issue cause buttons doesn't work.
But i'm sure it's not, the monitor havent been damage and it worked pretty well the day ago.
And now with your post i'm even more sure that it's not a material issue, same monitor, same multicolor screen, same message, same issues with buttons... Nobody seems to know what is it and how to fix but i'll let you know if i found any solution.
