    If the issue happened  within the past few weeks, you can check ControlPanel's restore point app to see if System Protection was enabled. If it was turned on, there may be an automatic restore point created if the issue was caused by a Win10 update. Jack E/NJ

    @JackE

    My camera is blinking the image. When I disable the automatic light exposure it stops, but I can not find a good configuration to not be too dark. I was using Fedora before and now I just installed the last version of Windows 10 and have the same behaviour.
    And as it was mentioned before in this post, it is installed with a really old generic driver from Microsoft (2006).

    Yes, the older CrystalEye webcam hardware typically uses the generic XP era driver as does the mouse, some touchpads, etc. However, your model uses one of the following webcams Chicony CNFGH6921004970LH, Liteon 6SF127N2, Liteon 6SF128N2 or Tech-Front 1YHJZZZ000A whose drivers are usually integrated into and installed along with other driver packages from the ACER download site. Hi R_M123,

    I think the issue is with driver download and install it from the below link and post the result,

    Hello, I have the same issue with my ACER Aspire 7 A717-72G.

    The internal webcam in not detected, so I uninstalled it and have the same issues than R_M123.

    I followed your link Easwar, but the webcam driver is not availible on the acer.com website.

    Here's a screenshot with all the availible drivers, can anyone help with this issue?
