Acer Nitro 5 - AMD - Slow Boot w 2 Memory Modules Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44-R99Q

I added a HyperX Impact HX426S15IB2/16 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 SODIMM to my new Acer Nitro 5 AN515-44-R99Q in addition to the 8gb module that is currently installed by default. I realize it's clocked a little slower than the factory module but when I bought a module rated at the factory speed it wouldn't work at all. I notice incredibly slow boot time - stuck on the Acer screen with the dot circles spinning around, for ten plus minutes when I restart. Once Windows finally loads everything is totally normal. Should I take out the factory module and just leave the 16gb in? Should I buy another 16gb that is the same as the HyperX one? It's ridiculous it takes like 20 minutes to start the computer honestly.

Does ANYONE have any suggestions? It took an hour today at the Acer screen with the circle spinning around before it restarted fully. This is driving me CRAZY. I am going to have to try taking out both the SSD and the extra memory module I put in and see if that has any bearing on the situation.
