So I just bought the KG241Q recently (1 month ago or less). I've seen other posts of people having a similar problem, but there was no fix. When I am gaming playing games like CS:GO or Rocket League the monitor goes black for 3-6 seconds. I've checked the HDMI cable and its plugged in as far as it can go. I borrowed a monitor from a friend before the KG241Q came since I had the parts and built the PC, but the 60hz monitor I borrowed did not black out at all. So I have come to the conclusion that the blacking out is caused by the KG241Q. I am using an AMD GPU if that helps at all.

There have been a few users who have exhibited similar symptoms where upgrading to a better cable dealt with it.

I was having the same problem. I don't know how but it solved. This is mostly caused by FreeSync.
