Touchpad Driver doesn't appear in Device Manager or Bios, external mouse works, performed hard reboot and factory reset. Have not been able to restore my touchpad, touchpad settings also does not appear in setting tab. Synaptic Driver showed an error in the driver history after reset I can not access that history. Also searched Acer.com and can not find the driver associated with mouse and touchpad, please help.

Remove the external mouse dongle. Then try pressing the FN+F7 toggle key combo to turn the touchpad back on. Jack E/NJ

Tried toggling the touchpad key and it didn't do anything I don't even see the grey display to indicate that CAPS or the Fn Keys been pressed. Im going to do a hard reboot and factory reset after I try Uninstaller driver

Report back with results. If the other keys seem to work OK, check the BIOS Main tab to see if function key behavior option is present and somehow changed to media mode and that any touchpad options have been disabled. Jack E/NJ

Touchpad working again had to disable safe boot and switched Touchpad to basic in Bios. Laptop still slow but its do-able.

Touchpad, video and many other components usually won't function properly or at all in safe mode. Why were you trying to work in safe mode?  Jack E/NJ

Had to have safe mode on during a work at home job. I understand the issue but that never happened before while in safe mode I guess the update caused the error to occur and maybe this is why my external monitors driver would not show on the list I'll check that later. Thank you for the information.
