    Hello everyone,
I know that this post is already a bit older but I had the same issue in the past.

The Problem is, that there is a PCI connector for a m2 Ssd but it is not compatible with M2 Sata SSDs. Furthermore the fitting NVME SSD is supported as flash drive, but is not usable as a booting device due to the fact, that Acer did not update the Bios to support the newer NVME data structure.

Because of that (at least in my case) Windows detected the drive and I could use it as a flash drive but it was not listed in the systems BIOS.

After some research I found the following guide which worked for me quite well:

    https://www.win-raid.com/t2375f50-Guide-NVMe-boot-without-modding-your-UEFI-BIOS-Clover-EFI-bootloader-method.html

I can now run my NVME SSD on the Notebook as a boot drive with quite a decent writing and reading speed.

Hopefully this helps other persons having the same issue.

Thank you for posting this! It gave me hope that I might make it work. So far, I haven't been able to, unfortunately. With an USB disk, I can install Windows 10 on the SSD but when it restarts, BIOS doesn't see it.  Can you tell me what worked for you? Or if you posted in that long thread? I looked through all the pages, but I might have missed it.

It wasn't working because my USB sticks were not 3.0 and the computer wasn't seeing them. I bought

Yes, the laptop is a VN7-571G, Bios didn't see my SSD but windows saw it as a simple drive. Anyway, I did the thing with clover and now I boot from the SSD.
    For anyone interested the SSD I'm using is  Intel® 660p Series, 512GB, M.2 80mm, PCIe 3.0 x4
