I can't find anything online listed as compatible, only for the 314-41 and 314-51 series, and couldn't find a parts list on acer like other manufacturers have.

    Why?what happened to your keys?

Hot coco left unsupervised followed by a hasty and not well-thought-out cleanup attempt.  I was able to recover everything but backspace which both shattered and broke the metal clips that hold the mechanism in place.

Huge credit to the keyboard design that kept it from getting into the electronics and ruining the entire laptop!  I'd say I'll buy acer again but honestly I'm glad I'm not looking to replace the whole thing right now.

I don't see the RY9N in my specs, which locale is it for? What language is the default?

If R9YN then it uses the US-Intl keyboard, Acer part number: 6B.HSEN2.033

Thank you.  Doesn't appear to be availble in the US but I will spend some time looking.

I know this is an older thread, but I found it while searching for exactly this issue. Will put this info here, so the next person that needs it will hopefully find it.

This part number includes the top case cover/palm rest, and is very expensive (like 5x) compared to keyboards for other models.  It is sold this way because the actual keyboard is captured by some melted studs in the top cover, so isn't "consumer replaceable".  HOWEVER, there is a guy (gal?) in Canada on ebay that is selling JUST the keyboards for about half what the part with the top cover costs...still expensive for a keyboard, but I'll take it.  You will have to do some plastic mongering to remove and replace the keyboard from the top cover.

The seller's ebay ID is yxf1224-2
