Real question is this intentional or is it a bug? The +50 on core voltage
I understand about not being able to undervolt, but isn't the cpu has more than enough current on 0 voltage offset
IMO this ain't no bug but the difference between 9750H and 10750H isn't that much, just for synthetic benchmarks and marketing this update is pushed and will be reverted in future updates due to higher temperature issues.
    What do you mean?
More voltage higher clock? isn't it the other way around?

what i meant above is that between 2019 and 2020 Helios 300 there isn't much difference in terms of performance upgrade of CPU and for the sake of sales the CPU is overclocked to 51mv to give a little more boost for initial reviews that are being shared and reviewed on YouTube and other platforms to help boost the sales and after few months when most of the reviews are done they will revert it back as the feedbacks of higher temperatures will get stocked.
Above statement could be interpreted on the negative side or hate speech but that's not the case it's my opinion and could be wrong or the other way around as we know these companies at the end are here to sell products and increase their sales. Not every time product could be that good, to be more precise to say, that much of a leap in build and performance quality as expected from 2018 to 2019 model. 2020 model is not much of an upgrade as 2019 model in real world performance.
To summarize above in one line "Not every time the expectations are met".

but more voltage is more heat, more heat is more throttling and more throttling is less preformace..
thats why we undervolt in the first place, so we can get more preformance and less heat from our laptop cpus
now im getting less preformance and fps because my triton 300 is throttling more and faster than before..
so I really don't understand acer move here if it is intentional and hope it gets reverted as soon as possible..

I know the throttling issue but like for a person who live at a place where temperature is around 15C this will surely be giving boost instead for a person who lives in hot countries where temperature is in 30's or 40's C. Another explanation could be the step Acer took backfired.
I didn't post this update for triton 300 that device is not accessible to me and i don't know about it BIOS changelog or what it did to performance. This was for Helios 300 (PH315-53) 2020 model.

Oh boy, I wish this was posted 3 days ago. I am having trouble reverting back to a bios I can undervolt in. Can anyone help me as I have no experience with laptop bios flashing.
    Me too ,
If you find any solution , tell me.
I am also locked out of Intel XTU and ThrottleStop.

1.06 bios is the latest that anyone can update as of the moment, it seems to fix the power limit throttling issues on some 2020 models as well.
did you downgrade from 1.07 to 1.06?
nope, well I was planning to upgrade to 1.07 but when I saw some threads here and on reddit I didn't push through.

Hello guys I have a question, my bios isn't updated and its sitting at 1.01 which to my knowledge I can undervolt it and I want to use Throttlestop but I do not know how to input proper settings. I humbly ask for everyone's help and opinions on what should my setting be when I use Throttlestop to undervolt my

    Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53.

It depends on how much performance you would trade off for lower temperature.
per say 5degree Celsius lower temperature and you'll lose 10% performance.
above statement is just an example to give you an overall idea results may vary. It's best for you to try different settings and find your own sweet spot where you are comfortable.
To give you a start below are the images of my profile what i use.

The above profile I use gives me way better gaming experience than stock setting where performance is 15% higher but thermal throttling makes things look the other way. Above setting cost me 15% performance with 10-12 Celsius drop in max temperature of CPU.

If you are new to this underclocking then watch some videos on how people are doing it for your particular model and in doing so you won't damage your machine as this is not overclocking where extra current is pumped onto the chips, the worst case you come up with is a BSOD.

I just purchased the laptop 0 Helios 300 i7 10750h RTX 206variant and it's BIOS version is 1.01 (27-04-2020). After reading this post should update my BIOS to 2nd latest version which is 1.06? or should I wait for later versions?
Don't update BIOS unless something is broken.
i also bought this Helios 300 i7 10750h RTX 2060 variant and it's BIOS version is 1.01 (27-04-2020). Gladly to see this post before updating anything. and in advanced i tried to undervolt it using intel xtu but when i tried to lower the voltage it was disabled.

is there another way undervolt it? TIA.

Don't use intel XTU that doesn't work as intended for laptops seems to be the case, completely uninstall it with a power uninstaller like Riva or IObit.
Then use ThrottleStop to control your system setting that'll be more useful and practical.
