How Do I Disable OEM RAID 0 and Use a Single NVME SSD + HDD Combo for Predator G9 593?

Hi, My laptop came with two crappy LITEON 128 GB SATA m.2 SSDs in RAID 0. I would like to disable the raid and use a single PNY XLR8 3030 NVME m.2 as my boot drive. How do I do that?
I saw two old posts about this but I was wondering if there were any changes.
I tried to see what message I get from using only one of those m.2 drives. The power and keyboard lights were on but the screen was black as if the laptop was stuck in a boot loop.
I'm afraid if this happens to the PNY drives after I buy it, it would only be a paperweight. Is this possible and if so, how do I fix that?

    Hi,
You can not use one drive to boot with while in the RAID 0 setup, but you can remove the RAID 0 setup and use a single M.2 SSD as you have said, please read my post in the link below.
This is the method I used:
1.Backup the image of your SSDs to an external HDD using Macrium reflect.
2.Create a bootable USB disk using Macrium reflect.
3.Remove two SSDs, install the new SSD, if you have any HDD installed, remove that as well.
4.Insert recovery USB disk and boot with it, connect the external HDD with the image backup.
5.Recover the image to the new SSD and you are done.
Please make sure that you are familiar with Macrium reflect and the methods for backing up the image, creating a bootable USB disk.

You need a spare HDD for backing up the image, SATA to USB cable.

so, to confirm, after following these steps, the OEM RAID will be gone and I'll be able to use the other m.2 slot?
Could I use one of the Liteon m.2 SSDs on that slot?

This worked for me, so I have shown the steps, in any case, do not delete anything from the original drives(both), after cloning you can also uninstall Intel RST program.

So, unfortunately, didn't work for me. Kept showing "Hardware missing or inaccessible" after booting up quite a few times. Then wouldn't boot at all. Had to delete all partitions and reinstall windows on the new drive.
