I just bought the nitro 5 a few days ago and the CPU starts to overheat while gaming. CPU reaches 94*C max temps while gaming average its around 77-83. the GPU on the other side reaches max temps of 67-68*C. I have tried the Nitrosense app its doesn't help much.

can somebody help me in this regard?
I know that this high temp impacts my laptop Isaw some videos and read some articles about it. I would be thankful If someone help me solve this problem

I have the i5-9300H and there is no link for that.
Should I claim my warranty because of the high temps?

Those temps are high generally, but not to bad for nitro 5. Ive seen worse.
You could try a repaste (may void warrantly- think it depends on region) but I dont think youll get any better results. I did and didnt see better than average 83C which was how it was before the repaste. My factor paste job was okay but i read other peoples were all dried, averaging 92/95C.
Im trying a KLIM Wind laptop cooler next as my Cooler master x3 doesnt work for my laptop. 2020 an515 55.
Undervolting is as @GAMING6698 suggested another method which Ive read reduces temps alot. Just have to tinker.
I think the best is a combo of things.

After you have repasted and cleaned your CPU/GPU fans and if the problem of overheating still persists I would strongly recommend that you buy a "Laptop Tablet Cooler” as with the Nitro AN515-54 the problem is that both fans are bunched together and the CPU/GPU are located away from the fans, hence, the heat extraction of the CPU/GPU is not efficient and/or 100%, that is why you get overheating. This is a design problem and there is very little that you can do to reduce these high temps.

As I’ve advised and mentioned many times, the best and simplest way is to get a “Laptop Tablet Cooler” that inserts fresh/cold air to the underneath vents of your laptop. Also, you can modify these “Laptop Tablet Coolers” if they don’t do 100% job by putting bigger fans or build one yourself. The Nitro AN515-54 has very adequate underside venting system at the underside top (which additional vents could be put at the bottom also?) but its 2x CPU/GPU fans are the problem as they don’t assist in cross venting and/or extracting hot air and cooling the whole case and it restricts the crossflow ventilation of your Nitro AN515-54 case that runs so hot.

The whole theory of cooling in a laptop is cross ventilation and extraction of hot air and by assisting that you will reduce temps, simple! This is a perfect example of how a “Laptop Tablet Coolers” and some heatsink mods will assist your cooling, this is for an Aspire V3-571G and is a great and neat guide, have a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvCLzUcvUa4 cheers and good luck =)

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. But the modifying part would void my warranty and I don't want that right now who knows maybe in the future I'll do it. But what laptop-tablet cooler would you recommend keeping in mind the placement of fans for Acer Nitro 5?
