Hello all,

First of, i searched everywhere about this and there was no clear answers. I bought an Acer Predator XB273K which runs 120hz or 144hz when overclocked. I recently got a 3080 so now i been gaming at 4k 144hz on the monitor with no issues other than chrome flickering while watching twitch, which is very annoying. I searched about that issue and read that sometimes it happens when you have a high refresh 4k monitor + an Nvidia card. Two people replied to me told me switching to HDMI fixed their issue. So i went ahead and bought a Zeskit HDMI 48gb cable. The monitor is stuck at 60Hz. There is no higher option.

My question is, Is there a way to be able to run 4k 144hz with an HDMI cable ? I thought this cable was gonna do it but i can't get it to work,

Thank You.

For some reason it is not letting me edit it so to clarify i was having the issues with 2 DP, that is why i went with the HDMI.

What was your issue with 2 displayports? Do you have the XB273K GP?

I have the GP and it doesn't support 4k 144Hz through HDMI.
