Hello community. I'm planning to buy the new Acer Aspire 7 A715-41G but I'm wondering whether it uses PWM (Pulse-width modulation) to adjust the brightness? Overall, it seems like a good laptop for the price.

Hi @ NickBb
Please find the link below to know more details about this laptop.

When it comes to display please check the details below
The matte 15.6-inch display of the Aspire 7 has a native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. While the display provides a good contrast (1042:1), the brightness (255.8 cd/m²) is too low. The price level of the device requires more. We consider a value beyond 300 cd/m² good. A positive fact: The display shows no PWM flicker.
Hope this helps you in some way.0 -
