Hello folks,

I have one Helios Predator G3-572-75L9 since +/- 2 years. It runs quite well after all those time. But today, while playing AC4: Black Flag, the screen suddenly turned off, but everything else was OK (was yet hearing game's sounds).

First thing I did was wait a bit (as it was quite Hot on the carcass) and plugged on an external monitor. It showed Windows logo screen on external, managed to update Nvidia drivers and download Intel VGA drivers from Acer and Intel (but didn't installed any of them).

After another restart, it does turn on but doesn't show signs of video not even from external and not from notebook's screen. Tried the battery power drain but I am not sure if I did well, now I am letting it rest, while I am asking help from the folks here.

So, any solutions for this case? If someone could explain with more details about the battery power drain, I would be glad as well. My model doesn't have the pinhole (so I found here that it might be on power button, pressed for 15 seconds while turned off)

Thanks in advance for all help.

Just an update: I've watched in some videos that overcharged capacitors could be the reason. So, just opened the back of notebook's, unplugged the battery conector and pressed the power button for a few seconds, three times, to ensure there was no electricity left. Yet, the problem continues.

I believe BIOS was reset with this action, what explains the fans' change of behavior (might be entering on BIOS screen automatically, but can't see).

So, back to ground zero. Any suggestions? Appreciated in advance.

RogerioLJr try a battery powerdrain via the battery pinhole leave it to rest a few hours to completely drain all capacitors and try again also how are your temps have u ever optimized your windows and undervolted and what about cleaning/repasting also when you perform a battery powerdrain via the power button the bios will reset and will have to  adjust the ram timings all over agin so it might restart autimatically with black screen up to 4/5 times then going back to normal after the procedure finished good luck :)

    Hello @xapim
I've already tried battery power drain via the pinhole, but nothing change. Also, tried checking battery disconnect, capacitor overcharge drain, Fn + F6, Fn + F7 hotkey buttons, already opened the screen carcass and disconnected / reconnected The LVDS cable, but nothing changed. I cannot do any modifications on system or BIOS as I have no visual access to its interfaces to adjust anything.
