Trying to unbrick and got myself a programmer, test clip and everything. Theres only one chip I can see on the MB that looks like it fits the clip (mx25u6473f) but it may not be the right one.

Could it be under the heat sync or something?

Also if you have any good instructions on flashing the chip all the youtube videos are pretty hard to follow.

Due to the communities restrictions on anything BIOS related especially modding and changing chips, there is only so much that we can advise you on. Firstly get a schematic diagram of your SP111-31 as that will tell you. The Bios Chip is usually located near the Chipset and its every time a 8 Pin MOSFET (SOIC-8) and every time space between the Pins are 200mil. Its very easy to locate the Bios Chip. But older Laptops have other sizes like SOIC 16 Chips or whatever, but newer one have in the most cases a SOIC-8 MOSFET like the lenovo y50-70. Also see this site for all BIOS related things: https://www.biosflash.com/e/BIOS-Chips-ACER.htm#up good luck.
