im having a trouble that i accidentally spilled water (Lipton) at the left side of my laptop's keyboard today and now the screen is dark but the keyboard is still on and other parts kinda charge, fans are still good.

It is Acer Nitro 5, And could you please just tell me how to fix or the fixing price? I'm in an emergency and that was my worst accident ever. Hope you will answer me soon. Thank you

    Good night Le0ndar !

If you have tools, some knowledge and safety, you should NOT turn the unit on.

Disconnect the power, remove the battery and disassemble the unit.
Use a microfiber cloth to remove the liquid and clean contacts.
Use a kettle to dry and an oil (such as WD40) to help prevent oxidation.

Let rest for a few hours, go back and see if there is any problem.

That would be a basic guideline.

    Follow these steps first.
Let it rest for as long as possible, the keys becoming hard to press is the fact that it has dried and become sticky, if you are feeling comfortable, open it and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. I think you're only noticing the heating issue as you are on A bed, but better not take any chances.

Either follow Sumanth's steps or make your own thread. Posting in this one won't really help much. You'll only clutter this thread by starting a discussion inside another.
