What are the exact specs of your Nitro 5 ans515-43, as there are different models some come with Intel and some come with AMD specs like cpu/gpu, how much ram do you have, storage type M.2 or 2.5”. as usually putting more ram and an NVMe SSD will improve responsive speeds (depends on the brand SSD that you put in) as changing cpu/gpu is not practical for an average upgrade, you can but you have to change the mainboard.

You can upgrade your ram as your OEM ram is only 8GB. I suggest that you install GPUz and look at the specs at “Memory” and SPD #1” sections to give you a guide of what your OEM ram is? Then upgrade and go one up with its speed e.g. from let’s say DDR4-2400MHz to DDR4-2666MHz or if its DDR4-2666MHz I would use that speed, don't go any higher. The max quoted ram for your Nitro 5 AN515-43 is 32GB into the 2 slots (2 banks of 1) if you want to go to that capacity? If you do I recommend getting a kit of 2x 16GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM ram so you will get "Dual Channel" mode.

Also put a PCIe NVMe M.2 2280SS SSD and generally have your Win-10 up to date as that will make your system run better and quicker for games.

Btw, you can also figure out your max ram by the cmd prompt and run as administrator and use this command:

    • wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity, MemoryDevices

Then look at “MaxCapacity” divide by 1048576 then divide by “MemoryDevices” which will give you the max capacity of ram.
