Hi friends, since I am having issues to REPLY to your comments(keep saying: Body is 1 character too short.) I am writing the issue again with more details.
Please feel free to advise why I can't reply comments and most important to respond the below issue:
- I just bought an Acer laptop 3 days ago Model: ACER Aspire 5 A514-52 14" Laptop - Intel® Core™ i5, 256 GB SSD, Silver
. It says 256GB in the advertisement but when I turned it on I actually got only 190GB free(1gb already used). Is that normal to lose that much GB ? Please help me understand it or is it faulty? My email is andreflex1@gmail.com
I am a bit upset as I wish to have at least 200GB free
Thank you soooo much!

Entirely normal. You can open ControlPanel programs and uninstall software that you don't think you'll need to bring you up to 200GB free. If it was mine, I'd probably uninstall any non-Microsoft virus scanners like McAfee or Norton. Most folks only need Microsoft Defender and MaliciousSoftwareRemoval tool which are upated automatically. Other than that, I probably wouldn't do much more. Jack E/NJ

Thank you so much Jacke! The software shown in the controlpanel programs doesn't seem to be that heavy. So i dont really understand what exactly is taking so much space but I will follow what u said...just leave it 🤷

There is a Windows app called "restore point" that takes up a small amount of disk space. It can be enabled or disabled to save disk space. It's purpose when enabled is to restore your computer to a working state if for example an automatic Windows or other type of  update cause problems with your system. It takes up such a small amount of space when enabled, it's best to leave it enabled. Jack E/NJ
